Technology and Science Concepts

There seems to be a lot of Science, Imaging and Technology concepts popping up. I am trying to collect them all in a list - https://docs.google.com/document/d/1LOVWD9__HYIVizLADWtVme77YxDcBOXcFhOcjXvbjoQ/edit?usp=sharing - feel free to add/edit as needed as I know I am missing a bunch.

I am also unfamiliar with a lot of the technology being mentioned, so thought a discussion place could be helpful. It seems like a number of visual/imaging concepts are popping up. Other themes?

For those of you who aren't following our missing friend on Twitter, she came across a letter claiming Isaac Newton actually discovered how to make Cometite - based on Telex #1, that's quite the commodity, as it can be distilled into "Suco" technology, and is a main source of power in jodhpur-land.

Volutron has come up twice now regarding broadcasting audio and video. One message said 3D audio broadcast, I assume without speakers, like the sound can just "exists" in whatever room you want. Another message indicated our 2D video screens were far inferior to Volutron image, which I assume is 3D also and again can be broadcast without a screen.

I assume a Volutron broadcast is 3D audio and 3D video that can just "exist" in any given space. If that's the case maybe we can intercept that broadcast with our advances in VR, AR and such.

(virtual reality (VR) augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MR) and extended reality (XR) are the buzzwords I'm thinking of)

Rory mentioned a couple of items in an email that may connect to some of the other tech/science/alchemy topics.  And now I have lost buckets of time diving into this research hole and finding out so much I did not know (and still so much to learn).

Man, that's a lot of stuff there. I just don't know that I would ever be able to read into all of that.

Tried to see how much of this Rory knew - seems he's on a bit of a road trip with Charity and our Yugoslavian friend! Got the following response when I was trying to check in on the cometite connection:

Don't know if you have a science background, but the point of E=mc2 is that very, very tiny amounts of matter are equivalent to very, very large amounts of energy. Meaning, the difference between, ah, *calling yugoslavia* as i think I have done, and *going* to yugoslavia is ***staggering***.  The second would imply access to a stupendous amount of energy, a national or international effort on the order of the moonshot ... or possibly both.

UPDATE: just saw the new video. If it takes a lot of power to cross over, and they're heading to Oak Ridge Tennessee (home of the Manhattan Project), this could get interesting.

I can understand Rory's motivation for going to Laminar (finding Brian), but nothing has indicated to me that Michael's mission here (whatever that might be) is completed. Leaving Charity in Seattle, alone and possibly in danger, seems like motivation to not send himself back, especially when Michael has said he would lay down his life to protect her and her family.

If the Bowlers were coming for Charity (based on her description of her encounter), what did they want and why? If it was to get to Michael, then perhaps him leaving is a good thing. If there is something else... then not so good.

Regarding the mention of heading to Oak Ridge Tennessee (home of the Manhattan Project) earlier - going through the secret twitter account of the person who has the Grail - she mentioned Tennessee too. That is where she encountered the Bowlers.....
